I like this name, but I prefer the other Anne, just because I find it a bit more interesting.

My brother used to be in drama school and used to talk about his teacher who was called Anne. Not too long ago, I found out that this teacher is actually a guy. I think it's quite funny that this name is so common for a girl and so rare for a guy. I would still never use it for a guy, though.

Anne, to me, is a girl's name. I'd never call a boy Anne.
