I have a cousin with this name that I barely see or know; he was named for Daniel in the Bible. I love this name a lot, and I’d still use it for a son. I’m not religious, so it wouldn’t be for that reason (despite, Daniel was a very strong biblical figure, so he’s a good associate); I’ve just always loved the name’s sound. As someone named Daniel, I have to say I'm intrigued by those saying it's "very hot." That's not what I was expecting, but I won't argue against the confidence boost!
