You don't really have to emphasize "MEE" in Emilio.. There are other ways to pronounce it. I know sometimes it's pronounced "a-MI-lyo" and like my name, it's pronounced "e-mi-LYO". I don't emphasize "MEE" too much, it just sort of annoys me.

Emilio Butragueño Santos (born July 22, 1963 in Madrid) is a former Spanish football forward who played for Castilla CF, Real Madrid, Atlético Celaya and Spain. During his playing career he earned the nickname El Buitre (The Vulture).
