Derived from the word "moonbeam", which describes the brilliant silver light the full moon shines down. This name was borne by a character from the Filmation Associates company "Happily Ever After". It acts as a non-Disney sequel to the old classic "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves". The Seven Dwarves are replaced with their female cousins, the Seven Dwarfelles. Moonbeam is Sleepy's female counterpart.
