How about it?

Just as I wouldn't name my kid Kali, I wouldn't want to name them after the Irish goddess of death, war and destruction. I did use it as part of my email address, though, because she is pretty cool :).

Sounds like a Lord of the Rings type name. I'm not crazy about it. The nickname will probably be Moe

It's alright. I don't like the "mor" sound though. It ryhmes with the U.S.A. state, Oreogon! Did I spell it right? I like the name Morrigan better than the name Morgan. :-)

I don't care for it. I don't care for Morgan, and Morrigan as some elements of it. I don't like the organ part if it. Morrigan also is very choppy sounding, and too surname-y for my liking (I like certain surnames as formal names, but not this one). It isn't masculine, and it isn't feminine, either (I feel that way about Morgan, too). If it's a family name (or family surname), then I would suggest only using it as the middle name.

Surnamey: a little bit too aloof and pretentious for my taste. It could have the cool nickname Morry, though, so I'll give it my OK :-) - chazda

I like that it sounds very Irish. But it sounds more like a last name to me.

I've always liked Morrigan, but never got a very good reaction to it on here :-(Although it's historically female and I do prefer it on a girl, I'd also consider using it on a boy. I think it works fine on both genders.
