Help[Opinions] Cara or Keira
Which do you prefer? I am loving Keira lately but can't decide which spelling I like best: Keira, Keara, Kiera or Ciara. I think Ciara is gorgeous looking but would cause problems in the US with pronounciation-too bad. Cara is so pretty too.

I love Ciara itself, and the Anglicised spellings I like are Kiera, Keara and Keyra.
I dislike Keira, because using Irish-Anglo pronunciation, it would be pronounced KYE-ra. Maybe it was influenced by Keir though :-/

Cara
It's a lot less trendy than Keira. And Cara really only has one other spelling or at least well known spelling, that is Kara but I prefer the C spelling. Keira has a dozen spellings.
I do like Keira, it's a pretty name but it's everywhere lately.

This is only because I am an old fuddy-duddy and Keira etc are newer to me. I've always loved the name Cara.

I like Ciara best of all, but perhaps you're right about the pronunciation in NA. :-( My favourite Anglo spelling is Kiera.
I think that Cara's a little less trendy-sounding than Kiera, and therefore a little more refreshing. I slightly prefer Cara over Kiera / Ciara for that reason, though I like both names.

I like Kira best, actually. Keira is probably my second favorite spelling. No one would pronounce Ciara correctly--sad but true. Keara is ok, but with it and Kiera, it looks like they might be pronounced like kee-AIR-ah (ugh). Not a huge Cara/Kara fan, though. It seems dated to me for some reason.
