Hi!
I found this in the book "Celtic Baby Names" by Judy Sierra:Seren
m. and f.
(SER-en)
The Welsh word for 'star'. Sirona, from the same Celtic root, was an ancient Gaulish goddess of hot springs.Regards, Satu

I've known three, and they've all pronounced it DAN-i-ka. (They would also have been little Daniels had they proved male. In what language does it mean a star?)

I pronounce it Danika too. It's in Slavic.
