You have graduated to Master Etymologist :)
But our friend is unclear as to whether he's talkin' Native America - Indian or India - Indian.

He's also unclear as to what the heck he means by "Indian name for Sandridge". Huh? Does he want an approximation translation, or is there a place in the U.S. that once had a Native American name and is now called "Sandridge"? People who post queries and don't THINK TO BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC just make me cranky, and then I wind up ignoring them completely. But, I agree with you, Selwyn has earned his laurels today. I shall place a virtual laurel wreath upon his head for his helpfulness and ingenuity! Here's your laurel wreath, Selwyn! With five stars in the center, that you've earned as well:>>>>>>*****<<<<<<-- Nanaea
