I have been watching a tv show where celebs (actors etc.) sing with actual singers and one of the actresses off an aussie drama is named Jolene.
I love the sound of the name. However i instantly think of the song by Dolly Parton (which is not a bad thing) but if i had a child i wouldnt want them to have people break out in song on hearing their name.
WDYT of the name Jolene?

I love the name Jolene, although it seems a bit lowbrow. But I just love the sound of it.
I've met only one. She is in her late twenties or so.
Sorry, I'm no good at combos or sets.
However, I can tell you with some authority that it is a bit of a pain to have a name that causes people to break into song. My name is Georgia, so "Georgia on My Mind" has been sung to me more than just a few times.

Isn't there a brand of shaving cream called Jolene?

I immediately thought of the song upon spotting this post. I don't really like the name, anyway. I like the song, though.
