[Opinions] Tobias? (prn. question)
I'm Australian and I've always prn. Tobias as To-bye-as (bye as in goodbye) and so has everyone I know, but theres a kid at my cousins sunday school and his name is Tobias prn. To-bee-as (Like Toby, with -as stuck on the end). So I was just wondering, as I know some names are prn. differently over here in Canada and the States than they are back home (eg. Isaiah- I-zie-ah vs. I-say-ah, Aaron- ah-ron vs.eh-rin, and Regan- Ree-gan vs. Ray-gan), is this one of those instances, or is it just this kids parents that prn. it that way?Basically, how do you prn. Tobias- To-bye-as or To-bee-as? It'd be helpful to mention what country you live in too ;)
