I am watching a show at the moment with a family with a set of twins AND a set of sextuplets.

Their names are:
(twins) Maddy and Kara
(sextuplets) Colin, Aiden, Alexis, Joel, Hannah and Leah

thoughts?

Just fyi

I like the names but I looked them up and Cara is spelled with a "C". Maddy is short for Madelyn, and is spelled Mady, Aiden is spelled Aaden and Colin is spelled Collin.

I don't like the twins' names but I think the sextuplets' names are great. Is Alexis a boy or a girl? If it's a boy it's even better. They are all lovely names except for Hannah which I think it's a bit boring.

Alexis is a girl, and since they live in America it is not surprising. Over here in the US there are almost literally (if not completely literally) no boys with the name Alexis. If there are boys running around with that name here I feel bad for them. I find it a great name but because there are SO many female Alexises running around it would make me believe that the boys would be made fun of for being "girly."

I like how the names aren't matchy.

I like Kara, Hannah and Leah.

I'd prefer Madeleine over Maddy.

All the names are quite fine, just not all my style.

How old were the twins and the sextuplets?

is the show called john and Kate + 8?

if it is then the twins are 6 and the sextuplets are 2 or 3.

That is the name of the show, and the sextuplets are 2. As the show says, they have two six-year-olds and six two-year-olds.

I THINK Maddy was short for Madison but I'm not sure.

Yes it is short for Madison. I've seen a couple shows on this family and I'm pretty sure.

PS. I hope this family doesn't become the new Duggars of TLC!

I saw the Duggars a few weeks ago (on tv I mean) I loved watching it, I hate how they all had J names though, oh well, each to their own.
