[Opinions] Keilani, Paris & Gypsy
Just a few name tidbits:1. A friend of a friend had a baby daughter she named Keilani Avery. Avery is the mother's maiden name.2. The same friend has a little cousin named Paris Frances.3. I saw a BA recently for a little girl named Gypsy Druid.

At least Keilani is a real nameI'm not sure which "lani" it is, but Kei means glorious, and lani either means a kind of flower, or sky/heaven, or chief/royal/host. It is used as a given name in Hawaii, and I like it -- IF the family has actual connections with Hawaii (not that they've just been there on vacation or something). The only other name I like at all is Frances, and I'm not even wild about that.

Keilani is alright, but I personally prefer Leilani, Kalani, Alani or just Lani. Avery is nms, but I see the point of using it.Paris I like, but Paris Hilton does ruin the name a bit for me though. Frances is nms and I don't like the two names together.Gypsy I love, Druid is horrible.

Well, Frances is nice. Paris is a boys' name. The use of Gypsy as a name makes me mad and don't even get me started on Druid.

1. I only like Avery on a boy, and am considering it for a future son/2. Paris Frances, I have also seen this in BA's recently. Too namy. MY future dogs will be names Paris & Frances so when I see that combo I think of them. I am also considering a child named Paris as well.3. Gypsy Druid - horrible, I love Gypsy, but not with Druid.

1. Keilani Avery - Never heard of Keilani... I much prefer Leilani, which is authentic. I've always liked Avery... for a boy.2. Paris Frances - Disgusting.3. Gypsy Druid - That's just freaking insane. This person must play too much WoW or D&D. Poor kid.

Ick, ick, ick!Keilani: I'll give this a pass if it is a genuine Hawaiian name, but it looks like a contrived pseudo-Hawaiian name right now, especially with that WASP-y mn.Paris Frances: Two thirds of a pun is PU, and this one stinks to high heaven! (Sebastian Bach, the singer, has a son named Paris Francis, so this isn't even an original PU-n.)Gypsy Druid: Mom is a fifteen-year-old goth geek who spends all her time in her room playing Dungeons and Dragons type games on the PC. Also has some confusion as to history and geography. Gypsies have nothing to do with Druids. *rolls eyes*

Paris is a girl name when after the city, but we can't forget that Paris was the Prince who started the issues with Troy.
