[Opinions] Vanessa or Victoria?

Which one? Vanessa was always my fav, and while I liked Victoria, I just didn't like it as much. But now it's really growing on me. It seems like it might age better, it's so elegant, and I like the occasional nn Vicky... I know I couldn't probably use both of them together, so which one would you choose?

I had the same problem. Now I've come to like Victoria more. But if you are going to use the nn Vicky than I would vote for Vanessa.

Both are pretty names, but I'm not too fond of the nickname Vicky. I don't mind Tori though. I'm not entirely sure which one I would pick if I had to. I'd most likely pick Vanessa since it's not quite as common as Victoria.

I feel like I should like Victoria more, but I just like Vanessa. Vicky is blech to me, while I like Vanessa nn Nessa, or just Vanessa on it's own.

I much prefer Victoria... something about Vanessa screams early 90s and scrunchies and side ponytails to me... just cannot get past that
Victoria on the other hand seems more classic to me, plus it has the new-and-improved nickname Tori. much better

I loathe the nn Vicky, sorry. I'd only name a daughter Victoria if there was a guarantee that she'd never have a nn. Vanessa is nms.
