Message: "Geneva" - Behind the Name

I know I usually really dislike place names for people, but Geneva struck me recently as a great name. Kind of came as a surprise to me, given that I dislike the name Ginevra and the above "place name" issue.

What do you think? Do you prefer Geneva or Genevieve?

I love Geneva, I've considered using it. It's so pretty. I also like nn possibilities Ginny and Eva. However, I only think Ginevra is okay. And I can't stand Genevieve... it's so harsh or something.

I much prefer Genevieve, Geneva is way too real as a city to me.

I love Geneva, very spunky- plus m fmily is Swiss, so there's that tie-in that I love :) I prefer Geneva to Genevieve, but I love both.

I really like Geneva. I think I prefer Genevieve both are great.

Geneva is okay, but I'm with you on the place names thing. But Geneva reminds me of Genoa, that being a salami or something of that sort. I like Genevieve better. It has been growing on me lately.
