I don't think it's too much but personally I prefer Cassian just because I don't like the -us sound in Cassius.

I don't mind the name, but I don't think I would ever seriously consider using it. It also sounds just a tad bit snooty to me.

I don't think its too much. I think its very strong and masculine and I associate the name mostly with Mohammed Ali. Like Nikki, I tend to prefer -ian over -ius names so I personally prefer the sound of Cassian over Cassius. And I prefer Caspian over both =)

I like it, but I wouldn't use it.

I love Cassius (and Cassia for a girl) it’s a very strong and masculine name, uncommon too which is a major plus. Sometimes I like it spelt with a 'K' it all depends on my mood anyway, its one of my favorite boys names. P.S I pronounce it kass-ee-us.
