I like the name, but personally I prefer it for a mn. I think Zipporah would probably get teased because of her name and get called zip, zipper, zippy, stupid things like that!

I love Zipporah, but I prefer it spelled Tzippora. I think spelled the latter way reduces the "zippy" or "zipper" nicknames.

I love this name!!! But not sure about using it today due to spelling and pronunciation errors?

It's a bit much for me. A fun name in a name-nerd way, but not the kind of name I'd want myself, nor would want to saddle my child with for a lifetime.

Oh, I adore Zipporah. While I slightly prefer Tziporah, both versions are stunning.Ora's fine as a NN, though I kind of think it's rather boring compared to Zipporah itself.

I'm sorry but, I can't get past the zipper thing. I like Ora as a nn though.

Zipporah is really great. Ora isn't the first nn I'd use, but it fits and has a nice sound.

I love it, it's one of my top favourites. Ora is ok but I prefer Zaffy or Zippy as nns.

Zipporah is currently (and has been for quite a while) my favorite girl name. I like it without a nickname, but Ora would be the nickname I would pick if I had to have one. It is a name that I would seriously consider naming my daughter. My favorite combo is Zipporah Gwendolyn.
