[Opinions] Daphne
Daphne's fairly unusual (means "laurel", and name of a nymph in Greek legend) but I can't make up my mind whether or not it's a name that would be laughed at and teased.

Daphne is a lovely name. I don't think it would be the object of teasing.

I don't think a Daphne would be teased anymore or less than anyone else. It's not really that unusual.

I know a Daphne who's a senior at my high school. I really like the name- it's gorgeous as well as not very popular!

I adore Daphne. I love the way it looks, the way it sounds and just the feeling I get from hearing it. The only teasing I can imagine is the Scooby Doo association but that's not really awful. I have known one Daphne and we all called her Daffy because that's what she preferred. Daffy actually bothers me more than the Scooby Doo thing. I think more people should use Daphne.

I don't see a lot of teasing potential here... I think it's a nice name. I've known people with this name, and I don't think it's too unusual to use.
