[Opinions] Cara

What do you think of it?I'm starting to really eyeball this name but I just don't know if it has that 'something special' factor to it. It would go great with my last name. It isn't high on the popularity charts and I can't go wrong with the meaning either. It's been on my PNL for quite sometime now... I'm just debating if I should move it to the top five. Opinions? Suggestions? Any feedback is appreciated!

I love Cara. Actually, I wanted this for my youngest dd. In her case, she would have been Caroline, nn Cara.

My middle nameSo trust me from experience: lots of poronouciation difficulties. I'm biased, so I can't give my opinion of the name. But prn is an isssue. Is it Cara as in cat (like mine), as in car or as is care? 9 times out of 10 you get care.

I like the name Cara and I think it has a nice meaning. If you're not completely sold on it, however, you could try Cora, or longer names that could have Cara as a nickname. Some examples (though I'm sure there are many others) include:Cardea
Carina
Carissa

I know a lady who is pregnant with a little girl and plans on naming her Cara Joan.

It's alright, but I don't think it's special. Say it out loud, and say your current top 5 out loud, and compare how it feels to say it, imagining the child having it. That really helps me rank my names.
