[Opinions] WDYTO Fallon (g)?

Girls only by association
Considering the vast majority of Fallon bearers are girls born in the eighties, even years from now it will have a feminine connotation. Girls only in my book.

Whenever I see or hear this name, my first thoughts are fallen, talon, or felon. Not particularly good associations, so I have a hard time with this name, personally.
It's a guilty pleasure of mine-I think it's pretty and cool.
It sounds masculine, but I actually kind of like it. It reminds me of Malon from Ocarina of Time. :)

Fallon Carrington Colby
I don't like it.
I don't like it.
I love Fallon. I never saw "Dynasty" in my life but I know it's an association a lot of people have.
I've always liked it. I knew a girl in elementary school named Fallon Andrea, but she went by Abbe because apparently her mother named her without the father's input, and he hated that name so he called her Abbe.
There's something *different* about it. It's one of those names that I like (like Leah) but I don't know if I'd actually use it because there's something dull about it at the same time. Maybe I'd use Fallon as a mn.

I like it :)
I like it a lot for a boy or girl. I knew a girl Fallon who is 12. It's a cool name.
I love Fallon! I think it's a wonderful name. :)
Dislike for a girl, ok for a boy
really don't like it sorry... reminds me of the word fellon.
Sorry, but I really dislike it. It reminds me of "fall on" or "fallow".
Prefer Faren for a girl.
Fallon makes me think of an eagle or something.

I think it's really ugly.
I know an Irish woman whose surname is Fallon, so I really can't separate it from being a surname. I like the Irishness of it, but I really dislike it as a first name.

I know a woman named Fallon my age, I prefer it on a boy
I only like it on a boy.
Sorry, but I don't like it at all.
It always strikes me as a cross between "falcon" and "talon." The imagery is too set in my mind to ignore.

HAHAHA!
It makes me think of the 1980s tv show "Dynasty," which had a character named Fallon.
Me too. That's where I first heard the name. Even then, the imagery of a falcon's talon was there.
