NoraI love Nora, but outright hate Norah.Nora looks so clean and flowing and classic/timeless while Norah looks so unattractive and modern (not in a good way) and trendy.

NorahIt just looks better that way, more complete. Nora just looks like a nn for Eleanora and not a full name.

I prefer Nora in Scandinavia/Germany etc., but I really prefer Norah in English-speaking countries.I think it's because I'm used to Nora being pronounced German, in Germany Nora is the common variant of the name.
And seeing Norah, I think of the English pronounciation (and especially of Norah Jones, btw) at once.

I'm biased in favour of Norah, for two reasons - first, it's the name of a relative I'm very fond of, and secondly I think that it looks more "finished" and complete than Nora and therefore less like a nn of Honora or Leonora or Eleanor/Elinor and more a name in its own right.

Norah...I've always felt that Nora isn't that attractive looking and is sort of plain. Something about Norah just makes it seem more complete.

NorahI prefer the H on all names on which it is an option, such as: Susannah over Susanna, Sarah over Sara, Marah over Mara, etc., and Norah over Nora is no exception. The H makes all of the names look more elegant, IMO.
