i think that the name miranda is a really nicec name and when i have kids i will name them miranda nicole. i think that name is cutie and girley

no its not too snobby .... i love the name myself lol .. because its my name ... i love the name because where i live there is not alot of mirandas and i just love the name.

Miranda is a nice name.... not too snobbish but like Meriel said, it could be. As far as shortening it is concerned (another point Meriel brought up)... how about Mira?

I think it's a pretty name, but could seem snobbish. Also how could you shorten it? Or do you not want to?

For some obscure reason I cant put my finger on Miranda would indeed sound kinda snotty in England (but probably nowhere else!):P

I like it! It has a soft, lush sound to it -- you could whisper 'Miranda'. Also, I have an affinity for this name, as it was invented by William Shakespeare just like my name was! It's derived from latin 'Mirandus', is it not?

sorry to post again ... but there are alot of ways to shorten miranda...... like i shorten mine .. with a couple of names .. like "mandee" or "randa" or "manda"
