Hate it.Sounds incredibly dated, will go straight to Beverly Hillbillies, and any name with "beaver" as the primary meaning can't be good. All in all, a zero out of ten from me.If you *must* use it, definitely throw it into the middle name spot and expect some complaints from the child. Alexis Beverly isn't great. I prefer Alexa or Alexandra Beverly. The flow seems to work better. Sorry to be so harsh on it, but it's just grating to me! :-P

It's one of the few names that I find far too masculine for a girl and far too feminine for a boy. I really detest the sound, too.Alexis Beverly is extremely masculine for a girl, and the styles clash.Best to keep this one as a last name, I think.

It feels a bit 1980s-ish, and reminds me of the Beverly Hills TV series and anyway of the area of Beverly Hills in Los Angeles... maybe that's what weird about it? I don't like it particularly but it's not awful either. I hate Bev though, and Alexis Beverly feels a bit too long.

Beverly is super trendy. It's got the surname thing going on as well as the place name theme. Alexis Beverly is to androgynous for my taste.

Alexis Beverly sounds like a 19th century rich guy, like he should be Sir Alexis Beverly or something. That would be a great character name. :-)On a girl it makes me go "Eww...trendy masculine name on a girl." :-(Something like Leah Beverly (looking at your PNL) would be quite nice.

The nickname Bev absolutely kills this one for me, sorry. It's OK in the middle, but I prefer Kimberley.

I kind of like Beverly. I think it will be fashionable again in about 20 years. Right now it still sounds a bit outdated. For some reason I also like it spelled Beverley but I also prefer Kimberley over Kimberly. Alexis Beverly is too masculine, though. Rose Beverly or something like that would be nice. I would use a more feminine middle name for Alexis.

Hhhmmm...I always liked the idea of this name, but not the name itself. It sounds nice, but its also kind of dated.Alexis Beverly is a nice combo. I don't think I would ever use it, but I'd like it on someone else's kid.

I understand how you feel about it-- I'm kind of like that too. I suppose it's kind of nice. I don't like the nn Bev at all though. Alexis Beverly is alright, although slightly androgynous.
