[Opinions] Chloe
Ok, popularity aside what do you think of this name? I have always liked it but recently just started to really like it. We actually had this on the list for Hayley (didn't use it obviously) do you think it sounds good with Hayley and Skye. Also, I had a cabbage patch kid named Chloe when I was about 5 years old (she came with the name) would it be weird to use it for a future daughter?Grant said he liked the name Zoe the other day, which do you prefer (or which goes better with my other kids names) Chloe or Zoe?I have a close friend named Zowie (prn like Zoe) so if I did use Zoe I guess the baby could be named after her. Thanks :-)

I like Chloe, but I think since you have a close friend named Zowie, I think you should go with Zoe. Both Chloe and Zoe go well with Hayley and Skye.

I love both Chloe and Zoe. I have a 17 year old cousin named Zoe, so I could never use the name. I actually think Chloe sounds better with your DD's names. Hayley, Skye and Chloe has a nice sound to it. None of the names seem to stand out above the rest. Side note: Chloe Rose (my fave Chloe combo) would sound perfect imo!

I like Chloe a lot despite its popularity! I think it's cute.

I don't like it. The problem is that the German word "Klo" (pronounced like the Chlo in Chloe) means "toilet" (slang) so I always think of that when I hear the name. It's probably a nice name when you don't speak German but I can't help but think of that.Hmmm it goes okay with Hayley and Skye. Not great, though. Hayley and Skye are so trendy and Chloe is such a classic Greek name.Oh come on nobody is going to know or remember that you had a cabbage patch kid named Chloe ;) I had a doll named Elsa and I still like that name. Oh and I had one named Bonnie :PThey both go the same with your kids' names because they are both classic Greek names. I prefer Zoe. The problem with Zoe is that there are millions of different ways to spell it. I have seen Zoi, Zoie, Zoey, Zoee, Zoé, Zowie, Zooey, Xoie etc etc Chloe is sometimes spelled Cloe, Kloe or Khloe but people don't seem to use these spellings too often. If you like Zoe and Chloe how about Xanthe or Ione (EYE-o-nee) ?Yeah it's nice to honor friends or family member, in my opinion.

I do love Xanthe. It is on my list also. Ione will have to grow on me.

I absolutely loathe Chloe. Every little Chloe I have met has been snotty nosed, unnattractive and badly behaved. Then the adult Chloe I know is quite honestly, frightening mentally unstable. There is absolutely nothing charming about this name, other than it's meaning. Now, Zoe on the other hand is absolutely gorgeous. I adore this name. I would even consider it for another daughter (not that we're having any more...) but I love it.

Chloe is nice enough, only I've known so many of them that it has lost its spark. I much prefer Zoe, I love Zoe and it has a lot more spunk to it. It'd be on my list if I didn't already look after a 9-yr-old Zoe- she is a gorgeous kid, whcih just makes me love it all the more.As for the cabbage patch doll, it wouldn't be weird at all for you to use Chloe. I plan on using Lucy for a DD's middle name and my first doll was called Lucy, I also had a doll called Catherine and I might end up using Catherine too.I think both Chloe and Zoe sound lovely with Hayley and Skye.

I love Chloe and Zoe! One of my favorites books is J.D. Salinger's Franny and Zooey(prn like Zoe) Actually I ended up naming my dog Franny, but I almost called her Zooey! I think both Chloe and Zoe go really well with your children's names but if I had to choose a favorite, I would go with Chloe...even though it is hugely popular at the moment

I actually think Chloe goes well with the other names.
And, Zoe does too.
My personal opinion would be to somehow add a "y" like your other kid's names. Then they would go together even more. I tend to be "matchy, matchy."
