I like Blyth...but get rid of the e! Blythe looks like it should be said 'bly-thee.'I like Rose too, and Blyth and Rose do sound nice together. Both simple, and not too common, but not unheard of either.

Well...it's my online name, so clearly I have some affinity for it, but I don't know that I'd give it to a child as a FN. It looks better than it sounds. In my case, I chose it more than a decade ago when first using the internet at home- my parents insisted on an alias- and I chose it because my twelve-year-old self enjoyed the very tenuous connection to my real name. It's kind of become part of who I am, but today I wouldn't use it as a FN, but might as a self-honouring middle :P It's quite different from Rose, but they do work as siblings. They're slightly more subtle than Belle and Joy in meaning, but more showy as names.

I like Blythe...but, most people I know DON'T. They say it when you say the name it sounds like a speech impediment-I don't like Rose with it.

I really like Blythe, better than Rose (the number of times it has been used as a mn has kind of ruined it for me). Blythe and Rose makes a good, sturdy sibset. Blythe is a bit more unusual, but they compliment each other.

I personally think Blythe sounds a little snobbish, but I think Blythe and Rose would make a great sibset!

I actually find Blythe quite ugly and Rose a little too frilly.

One of my GPs...I kind of like it, but sometimes I think: it feels strange speaking out the name. You make your tongue do quite a movement ;). I like the spelling, though.
I prefer Rose to Blythe, clearly. They would work as a sibset, yes.

Yes, I think they would make a good sib set, although Blythe seems a bit of a weak name to me. I like it though, just a little wishy-washy.

I think they are about the same prettiness level and would make a lovely sibset :)S xx
