[Opinions] Joan
My favorite aunt, Joan, passed away last year. So I'm biased. But I love the strength of the name Joan. The contrarian in me knows that Jane will be the more popular and so Joan needs all the support she can get. Joan makes me think of medieval England for some reason. Plus, I'm hoping the rising popularity of Jonah / Jonas might raise Joan's prospects as well.In general, I'm more drawn to the long "a" sound than the lond "o" sound too. But I've got other, competing interests in my head when it comes to the name Joan.
