[Opinions] Re: Tiffany
in reply to a message by Lily8
I wouldn't say that Tiffany has always been "strictly feminine". It really went out of use as a girl's name for the most part during the 18th and 19th century. And since it became a surname, like most British surnames, it was occasionally given to boys during the 19th and early 20th centuries. For instance, there are 27 people listed as having the first name Tiffany in the 1880 census of the USA found on Ancestry.com, and 26 of them are listed as male. :)Like most names, Tiffany will probably "make a comeback" some day, but if it follows normal patterns, that won't be until around 2080 or so.
