This is my older sisters nickname for her full name (Karissa) and we say it like 'care-ee'.

I would probably say kayr-ee but only because most often in the US it would be a trendy form of Carrie / Kerry. I prefer it be prn KAH-ree and I think it's okay that way, but don't like it otherwise.

I pronouce it KAR-ee. It's alright as a name, I do like it as a nn though.

I used to pronounce it like Carrie until I met someone online awhile back on another naming forum. This lady had a Russian background and her husband's was Norwegian. They named their dd Karianna Solveig (kah-ree-AH-na SOL-vay), nn Kari (KAH-ree). I thought it was gorgeous and now pronounce Kari that way. So yeah, Kari is nice.

KAH-ree. No, I don't like it. It's nickname-ish and immature sounding.

My friend's mother is named Kari. She pronounces it CAR-ee. It's okay - too nicknamey for my tastes. Maybe it would be better as a NN for Katherine or Caroline.

I like it, would pronounce it , as does Rachel Shay, Care-ee.
And to be old-fashioned, I'd likely go for Kari-Ann.

I'd pronounce it CAR-ee I do like it, and Kori as well, but I probably wouldn't use either.
