[Opinions] Aurora
What do you think of Aurora?I love the meaning and it's had a special place in my heart ever since it was my "Roman Name" in 3rd grade. Is it too trendy? Do you like the nn Rory? Also what do you think of the combo Aurora Temperance nn Rory or nn Tempy both only being occasional?

Aurora is okay, and Rory is really cute. I don't really like it with Temperance, though, and I really don't care for Tempy.

I really like Aurora and I love the meaning. It's unusual where I live so I don't see it as trendy. I dislike Rory as a nn - I see it as a rather nice boy's name and can't get my name around using it as nn for Aurora.I wouldn't use Aurora because I am so in love with Aurelia though.I like Aurora Temperance with the occasional nn Tempy.

Aurora is lovely. It isn't too trendy, at least I don't see it used a lot-only occasionally. Aurora Temperance I really think that Rory would be cute occasionally....Tempy is a little odd...but hey whatever you want!

I love Aurora, AND the nn Rory! I knew a girl called Aurora, and "Rory" really fit her soooo well!!!I'm not fond of "Temperance" but the name sounds fine together!

Idk, I've never been completely sold on Aurora. It always sounded kind of awkward to me. I like seeing Temperance in the mn slot, and Rory's cute but I like it much better on a boy.

ThanksI prefer Rory on a boy as a full name but like it as a nn for a girl. I guess it's kind of weird but I like guy's names a nns for girls but naver as full names.

AuroraIt's okay enough. I agree that the meaning is lovely but I don't like the prominent ror in it or the boyish Rory. That seems even worse.Temperance is nice as a middle name but Tempy sounds like a nickname for a part time receptionist or a temperamental kid. Out of the two I would go for Rory despite disliking it.Silly but I think Aura would be a cute nickname.

ThanksEspecially for the nn input. I hadn't thought about the sound of Tempy but it is sort of true that it sounds like a tempermental child's name.
