Do these names work well for a pair of rival characters?
The names sound may "old", but in fact that is exactly what I'm going for here. Young women (they graduated from high school in 2003) with names more typical of older generations.

yes, i think they work really well!

On the face of it, Marion sounds as if she would be more introverted than Gloria, so if your intention is to have two disparate personalities they do work well!
