[Opinions] Helena? (ETA Kirsten)
Within the past couple of days, Helena has really started to grow on me. I like the pronunciation heh-LAY-nuh, but how would you pronounce it? I'm from Montana, so HELL-eh-nuh is just a city to me, but that might change. The name would honor my grandmother, Helen Vivienne.Combo suggestions? I came up with:Helena Felicity
Helena Yocheved
Helena Rachel
Helena Miriam
Helena Naomi
Helena Vivienne
Helena Gabrielle
Helena Lillian
Helena Roxanne
Helena Rosalind
Helena DianeEDIT: Also, what do you think of Kirsten (KEER-sten)?

I like Helena quite a lot. I have a lovely friend by that name(I also have an equally lovely friend called Helen so can't decide which I prefer).I say Hel-ee-na. It's the usual pronunciation in Ireland.I am no good at combos but I like Helen Vivienne!

I like:
Helena Felicity
Helena RosalindMy instinct is to say HELL-eh-nuh, the way I heard it when I was growing up, but I think heh-LAY-nuh is equally pretty.Kirsten's OK, though nms.

I'm one of the few people who prn. it heh-LEN-a, and that's the only way I like it. HELL-en-a is harsh to me, and heh-LAY-na is very unattractive to my ears.My personal combo is Helena Firenze, but I love your Helena Yocheved and Helena Vivienne!Kirsten is so overdone here, it makes me want to scream a bit.

I pronounce it Hel ee nuh. I like it and especially to honor your grandmother. I like:
Helena Rachel
Helena Miriam
Helena Gabrielle
Helena DianeI like Helena Kirsten, but I'd pronounce it Kir sten. Helena Kristen may be better. I think I'd go with Helena Kristen or Helena Rachel.

I like;Helena Felicity
Helena Vivienne
Helena RosalindThey are all very nice combos. Kirsten is so much prettier than Kristen imo. I prefer the spelling Kiersten just to get the prn. across. I hate when people prn. it like Ker-sten or Kristen.
