Hello , I work at a day care so I just wanted to warn you that those names are becomimg very common. I hear names similar to them (Maia , Amya , Kaia , N'khia) in our infant room every day.

Maya or Maia.

Maya, Kaya, Kaia, Gaia in that orderMaya is the most familiar, and all though it's really popular, I still find it fresh. I know a Kaya (by this spelling), and have good associations with the name. It has a crisp sound which I like, but it feels a bit more nicknamey than Maya does. The spelling Kaya seems like it would cut back on prn confusion, but Kaia looks slightly better.Gaia is okay. I don't dislike it, but I don't love it.

Maia and Gaiapronounced MAY-a and GAY-a.

MaiaI think this is the prettiest and the one I would be most likely to use out of all of them. I also like Maja, Kaia, Kaja, and Gaia.

Maia, Kaia and Gaia in that order are first because I like the look of the i. Maia is sweet, Kaia is different in an okay sort of way and Gaia is nice, but a bit too out there. Then come Maya, Kaya, Maja and Kaja, but I'm not too keen on the j's.Then Mya, Kya, Caia and Caya becuase not having the first a makes Mya and Kya look incomplete and the c's in Caia and Caya just look forced and silly.

I see Caia as a feminine version of Caius so I don't think it looks forced at all.

I see Caia as an attempt to spell Kaia with a C.

Kya, or Kyah as I prefer it.

Maya.

Maia -- because I prefer this sound to Kaia and Gaia and because Maia is the Greek and Latin spelling.

Maia or MayaI say both MY-ah. I love Kaia or Kaja as a nickname only, but it's too cutesy as a full name for me. Gaia is pretty but I'm not sure how usable it is.Mya, Kaya, Caia, Kya, and Caya are bad. Maja is fine if you have the heritage to back it up.

Maia - "MY-ah"I also like Gaia, but only pronounced 'GUY-ah'.

In that order:Caia
Caya
Gaia
Kaja
Kaia
Kaya
Maja
Maia
Maya
Kya
MyaI just don't like Maia at all. It has always seemed trendy and insubtantial to me. I like both Caia and Gaia.

MayaGaia is too close to 'gay', Kaya sounds a bit trendy-ish. Maja is nice as well, but only if pronounced the same as Maya. Mya makes me wanna say MYAH (so one syllable instead of two). Caia doesn't look bad either.

Maia.Because Kaia is too strange and I don't like it, and Gaia sounds like guy-a so it's a guys' name to me.

I pronounce it more like GAH-ya, not GUY-ah

Yet it still reminds me of someone saying "GAH!" Like they are mad and if you were to pronounce it GAY-a, it has Gay in it. So, Guy, Gay, and Gah. Not very good, either way you put it.
