[Opinions] Stephanie
What do you think of Stephanie? Nice or dated? Stefanie or Stephanie? How many do you know? Do you see it as an 80s name? Do the ones you know go by a nickname? Do you like Steph, Stephi or Stevie?

*heart*I love Stephanie. I guess it's kind of an 80s name, but I've actually never met anyone with the name so I don't have any particular age association with it.
I love all the nicknames you've listed equally, I'd use them all if I named a daughter Stephanie.

What do you think of Stephanie? I kind of like it but it's not one of my favourites. It's growing on me though.
Nice or dated? It could be considered dated but I don't think it's terribly so. I think it could work on a baby or a little girl.
How many do you know? Not many. I have met a couple of Stephanies over the years so it feels kind of common but I only know two at the moment.
Do you see it as an 80s name?I think most Stephanies are born in the 80s but I think the name could be revived. I have a feeling I'm in the minority with that opinion.
Do the ones you know go by a nn?The two I know are both called Steph a lot.
Do you like Steph, Stephi or Stevie?Steph is okay. Kind of cool.
Stephi doesn't work. It's kind of cutsy, like a toddler nn.
Stevie - NMS. Don't like.

I like Stephanie. I don't think it's dated. I like Stephanie better, Stefanie just looks weird. I know 3. I don't see it as an 80s name. The ones I know don't go by nicknames, and I like Steph okay.

The only reason I like Stephanie is because of associations, but I think it's okay. I know about 3, maybe more that I've met, like, once... None of the ones I know go by Stephi or Stevie, but people call them Steph sometimes.

I really love the name Stephanie. I know two-one is 36 and one is five. I don't think it's dated. It's more of an 80's/90's name but not out of date to me at all. I prefer Stephie/Steffie as a nickname but Stevie is kind of cute too. Great name!

I think it's a nice name but it's also dated

I never liked Stephanie. For some reason, I've always put it on par with Brittany, Tiffany, and Danielle: cute names with no substance. No offense to anyone who likes these names, BTW.

I kind of like but do think that its sounds too '80's.
