Help[Opinions] Elias????
I know a name that sounds like el-I-us (you know with emphasis on the I in the center) and I assumed it was spelt Elias but the site says that that name should be pronounced e-LEE-ahs. So I was just wondering if you guys know any names that sound similar to what I'm looking for. Or even if you pronounce Elias differently

I know someone named Elias (el-I-as). Whenever a book character is named Elias I usually assume it is EL-ee-as but I think el-I-as is the correct way.

It's just two different pronuciations of the same name, Elias. Where I'm from Elias is pronounced e-LEE-ahs but I think the normal English pronunciation is el-EYE-us.

Elias is pronounced that way in English-- ee-LIE-us. That's how my cousin Elias's name is said, and the only way I've ever heard it pronounced.
