I've met my share of Jennifer's when living in the US and the UK, all under 30 and most going by Jen.
I think Jennifer won't make a comeback for a while, its heyday's way too close. It risks becoming extremely dated, and a likely candidate for a stereotypical "old-lady's name" in 30 or 40 years time. Jenna possibly might fare a bit better, but it's too close to Jennifer.
