Do these sound the same or are they different?

What do you think of Lamar and Loria for Emir's children's names?

I prefer Amir.
Lamar is ok, Loria... I don't know, I like Loreia better.

And I'm slowly but surely getting confused about all your characters and their names... ;-)

Amir = ah-MEER (or AH-meer) and Emir = eh-MEER (eh-MEER)

I don't like Loria, but I do like Lamar.

Amir sounds way more arabic than Emir. And Emir is much, much better.
Lamar also sounds too arabic for my taste. Loria is fine.
