Message: "Lilac" - Behind the Name

I seem to be going through my list and so many of my favourites are too matchy with DD Scarlett. When I think of Lilac, I think of the flower, not the colour- thoughts?
What is your general impression of Lilac and how would you picture someone with the name? How is it with Scarlett and Malcolm??

To me, Lilac is a gp or for litterature, not a real person. Although, you could call her Lila and people wouldn't give you a strange look.

Lilac makes Maureen shine! it's a very pretty combo.

I do feel, however, that Lilac and Scarlett are quite matchy in terms of the colour - it's the first thing I thought of. What about Lila or Leila Maureen?

When I think of Lilac I think of both the colour and flower. I love this name and don't understand why it never caught on like the other florals. Its spunky, sweet and feminine.

Lilac Maureen is sweet.
Lilac and Scarlett are shades apart - after all, the origin of "lilac" is "blue".
I think primarily of the flower when I see the name.
