[Opinions] Audrey or Aubrey?
If you had to choose, would you go with Audrey or Aubrey and why?Kind of surprised to see that Aubrey is more common than Audrey at the moment.I'll post mine separately.

Audrey for a girl, and regardless of actresses I can't stand it.Aubrey for a boy, and I quite like it though I'd prefer Auberon.

Definitely Audrey! It sounds so much nicer to me than Aubrey. I love Audrey thanks to Audrey Hepburn and would use the name for a future DD, but DH doesn't share my enthusiasm for the name unfortunately!

I love Audrey. Aubrey makes me think of Brie (sp?) cheese

Definitely Audrey. Audrey is a classic and it is a legitimate feminine name, while Aubrey is just another trendy masculine name turned female name.

Aubrey for both a boy and a girl. It just sounds more pleasant to my ear.Generally I prefer the mix of hard and soft sounds in names but Audrey just doesn't appeal to me at all.

Audrey, definitely. It has always made me think of golden syrup (not sure why!), and it's bona fide feminine.
Aubrey, on the other hand, is traditionally masculine, though it does seem rather effete (except when Russell Crowe plays Captain Jack Aubrey in "Master and Commander" - yum!).

Audrey for a girl, Aubrey for a boy.

YepAnd I like both of them. Audrey is very dark and alluring and silver-screen-y. And Aubrey is very light and gentle but courageous. It actually makes me picture an archer... kind of Legolas-y. Heh.

To me Audrey is feminine while Aubrey is masculine. I hate seeing Aubrey becoming so popular as a girls name.

I like both as girl names, but slightly prefer Aubrey. Not sure why. I like the combos Aubrey Thais, Aubrey Primrose and Aubrey Leah

I like them both but I prefer Aubrey. I simply prefer the -bree sound over the -dree sound. I also like the meaning of Aubrey better.

Probably Aubrey. We couldn't use either because of our surname, but I like Aubrey just a tiny bit more than Audrey. It's cute, and I like the meaning.

I dislike both, but I hate how the initial syllable sounds in both of them, but if I had to choose, I'd choose Audrey, because it is an older, more established name for females.

Audrey!I love the name Audrey. Also, it's the name of my favourite Great-Aunt, she was a really lovely person. It also just sounds better than Aubrey in my opinion.
