[Facts] Menzies?
I read this name in the paper today. It belongs to Sir Menzies Campbell some sort of British politician. I quite like the sound, like Kenzie but less feminine (I don't think Kenzie sounds feminine but most do it seems). So does Menzies originate from a surname or what? And what is its meaning? Thank you!

Well, Menzies Campbell does not pronounce his name "Men-zeez". The correct pronunciation of Menzies is "Ming-iss". That is still the way it's pronounced in Scotland where it originates, but it England (and I imagine America), it has become rendered as "Men-zeez". I'm not suggesting you try using the "Ming-iss" pronunciation in the USA ... What a nightmare for your child to explain! And anyway, "Men-zeez" sounds much nicer. I just had to point that out when you mentioned Menzies Campbell.Think Chrisell already gave you an origin, so I won't repeat her :-)
