[Opinions] Aderyn
What are your opinions on the name Aderyn? I'm starting to like it...I'm not sure about the sound of it but there's something about it that catches my attention. Also, I noticed in the comments that some people were saying they liked it on a boy. Can you see this name being used on a boy?

With the -ryn ending it's waaaay too trendy, and it looks almost like a badly spelt kreatyve spelling of Adrian. Very badly spelt. Horrible. Just... no.

I LOVE Aderyn, and the nickname Addy. I don't think this would work on a boy at all. The thought actually makes me gag.

It sounds more masculine to me, even though it's listed as a feminine name. I don't like the sound of it though. If it were pronounced with the emphasis on the first syllable it would be nice and I'd probably like it. I don't like the name Darren, and Aderyn sounds just like Darren with an "a" in front of it.

It sounds like the name of an anti-depressant. I don't like it at all, and I wouldn't use it on either gender.

AdderallThat was what I thought of, too. I like the meaning, but it sounds too much like the medication. Also, it has that tryndee Ad- and mid-Y going on. I thought it was just another cutesy made-up sound-jumble name.
