[Opinions] ALASKA
In the book Looking for Alaska by John Green, there's a girl named Alaska. What do you think?

I know a boy named Kansas, so Alaska seems O.K.
It seems to work with some states and not others..you rarely find people wanting to name their child Vermont, for example. I'm Canadian-we don't tend to name children after provinces, too clunky sounding. Though Alberta would be accepltable, and I went to school with a girl whose middle name was Alberta.

lol!Nothing to do with your post, really, but my Mom accidently called my sister in-law, Tabatha, Alaska the other day for no apparent reason. We had quite a laugh.I think it'd be kinda silly in real life, same as I would any other state name, but in theory it is pretty cool. It has a spark about it.

I used to call myself for different US states on MSN a while back. For six months or something I went by Alaska and I really like it!

It's interesting for a state name, but I wouldn't use it, personally.

We tend to frown on the usage of all caps in subject lines.
