Funny you ask for a boy or girl because I would have said boy, of course, I've never heard of it on a girl. Ridiculous thought!
But on Hell's Kitchen last week there was a high school girl named Bennett. I'll admit I kind of liked it. It makes for a very snappy, peppy name for a girl.
But really, I do much prefer it for a boy. I like it, it has Ben in it, so it feels so warm and hugable. But it has a more modern edge.
