So all I can think of are the Jonas Brothers. Glad to know most of you don't.

I would use Jonah if the Jonas brothers connection is bothering you. Personally, I prefer Jonah anyway.

Not for me, but Jonas is really common here (but not on babies). I think you can go with Jonas anyway, or Jonah if you prefer.

I don't even know who the Jonas brothers are... Guess it would depend whom you're hanging out w/. I think it's an ok name.

I love Jonas. Surely the Jonas brothers are a flash in the pan anyway? They have hardly impinged on my consciousness tbh.

I like both Jonas and Jonah but in the US I think I'd use Jonah. It's one of my favorites at the moment.

I like it a lot. It was the name of my favourite teacher at school and I think it is a really cute name. Unfortunately, I think a lot of people would think of the Jonas brothers now. It depends on when you are using it, because I don't think the Jonas Brothers will be popular for ever. If you are pregnant now, I would avoid it - but in a few years time I think it will be fine again.

I've never heard of a Jonas brother; it's not a name I'd ever use but it's a whole lot better than Jonah!
