I'd welcome any opinions or combos on Selah.

I like it. It looks like it should be SEY-la, though, and the pronunciation guide says SEE-la..

Yes! I know a family that has a baby girl named Selah, and she is adorable! I think this name is beautiful on a girl.
They pronounce it sort of like the word Sailor. Say-La.

How are you pronouncing it?
The traditional English pronunciation seems to be "SEE-la" and I don't like how that sounds.
I also don't really like the idea of Selah being used as a name. It doesn't seem much different than naming a child Fermata.

I like it and wouldn't mind seeing or hearing it on a child these days, though I wouldn't use it myself.

My cousin has always said this is what she'd name a girl, if she ever had one. I think it's very pretty. But perhaps a little flightly feeling. It might do well to be grounded with a more substantial middle name like Selah Katherine.

I really like it. I can't use it because it's the name of a Christian music group and even though I love them, it's hard for me to think of calling my daughter the same name. I wouldn't think it would be weird on someone else's child though.
