I really like it. It sounds very handsome and strong, but not too rough. It seems sophisticated without being snooty. It works well for both aristocrats and everyday people.

I really want to like Vincent, but the "vince" sound is so unattractive. It alternately reminds me of a Mafia thug and a prissy, whiny little boy.

I like it! It's cool, classic but not overused, and reminds me of Vincent van Gogh (who I consider a pretty awesome namesake, although I know some people will probably say he's just that crazy guy who chopped off his ear :P).

I don't like it at all. I associate it with thugs or gangsters courtesy of Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction. Also, it seems like there's at least one Vincent in every mafia movie ever made.

I hardcore love Vincent. I find it deep, lovely, and somehow edgier than most classic male names. It's always in my top 2; today, it's my #1 pick for a son.

I used to like it a long time ago, then for awhile it was just okay, kinda boring, but I've been liking it a bit more again lately. It has an appealing dark, dashing thing going on. Possibly because of Vincent Valentine from FFVII. :)

I love Vincent. It sounds both cool and classic. It seems like a name that should be popular but it isn't. I only like the nn Vin and Ent. I don't like any of the other nn. But I always thought Ent would be a cool nn. I'd call him my little Tree Ent. I'd probably call him Vincent most of the time.

It use to be on my favorite name list for boys next to Damian and Xavier about 6 or 7 years ago. You know I think I like it enough right now that it is back in my Top 25. All this year I've been re-falling in love with all my favorite 2005 Names that I fell out of love with because I thought they were too popular / common.

Vincent is a name I like one day, dislike the other etc. But usually I dislike it. Mostly because of my associations I guess, but also because I usually don't like V names and I dislike the Vince beginning.

I like it. Would think about using it. It seems crisp and classical, very manly but not rough. A little on the chilly side, on paper, but I think calling a real person Vincent would make it seem warmer.

I like Vincent a lot- it is a really strong and intelligent sounding name. I don't like the nicknames Vin, Vince or Vinny though and I think they'd be difficult to avoid altogether, even if you always introduced him as Vincent. I would be worried he would decide to go by one of those nicknames when he was old enough to make the decision and I just wouldn't want that. I'd like to see it on someone else's kid though. It sounds really good with a lot of your other top names as well!

I like it, but I would only consider it for a middle name, never a first.
