[Facts] How is Ismene pronounced?
It does not say in the BtN entry of Ismene, nobody has made any comments about the pronounciation either.I would like to know both the Greek pronounciation and the English one, if they differ.I would pronounce it as "Is-MEH-neh" just looking at it."But it’s all right now.
I learned my lesson well.

My friend has a Greek penpal whose name she pronounces "izz-MEE-nee". I've never seen it written down, but I imagine that's Ismene. The "ee" sound makes sense, when you think of Chloe, Phoebe, Zoe, Daphne ..._____________________________________________________________________Elinor
