I love Dallas as a name. But I lived just outside of the city of Dallas TX for three years and I hate the city. So that's why I wouldn't use the name! I love the sound of it, though, just for someone else's child.

I live South of Dallas now and love the area (not the heat though) but I wouldn't use it because of our proximity to it.
I kind of like it. It feels very masculine, strong and trendy to me.
