I love Theo on it's own. I would use it by itself, for sure. I don't think it needs Theodore, and actually I'm not a big fan of Theodore. They have two completely different vibes to me- Theodore is dorky, bookish, quiet. Theo is a cool artsy dude.

I think it would be best matched with a longer middle name, not necessarily grand, but at least three syllables.
