Hmm, it seems more masculine than feminine to me. I think I'd like it as a middle name for a boy. :) It reminds me of Endymion, which is also nice.

Isn't it David Cameron's daughter's mn? Florence Endellion? I think they named her after a village in Cornwall or something. Anyway, I like it. El-/-el names are really popular (the Belgian royal family has an entire sibset named with them) and Endellion IMO is a sweet, slightly quirky option (slightly old-fashioned too, which I like). Sylvie is perfect with it.

I think it's a nice middle name, but I automatically think of David Cameron's kid. Spoils the unexpectedness of it, imo.
