What do you think of Christian? It puzzles me a little that it didn't make the top 100 till the 70s and didn't become popular until the 80s. I always thought it had been super common forever, kind of like James or Michael. Guess I was wrong.
I like it for both genders. I knew a few female Christians growing up. I also love Christiana. What do you think? Could it work on a girl?

I don't see why Christian couldn't work on a girl. After all, Christians can be either sex. Still, I'd much prefer the lovely Christiane or Christiana.

I prefer to leave Christian on the boys and find it strange to hear of it on girls... let the girls have Christiana... It's less confusing. That said, I have mixed feelings about having someone labeled with a name of that nature that they may not represent in any way re: their beliefs, lifestyle, etc.
