[Opinions] WDYT of Misha?
WDYT of Misha? It is pronounced MEE-shah, it's a male name and it's the pet form of Mihail (mee-ha-EEL) and Mikhail. Misha was the name of the Mascot (a bear) at the Moscow Olympics in 1980.

I know quite a few Russian men who go my Misha as a nickname for Mikhail, so I'm having trouble thinking of the name as cute or feminine. It's basically Mike in Russian. Misha is also a generic name for a teddy-bear, just like Teddy in English in reference to a stuffed animal (thus the Russian Olympics mascot).

I think it's adorable, for boy or girl. To English-language ears though, it probably suits a girl better._____________________________________________________________________Elinor

I have a friend named Misha and I really like it. It suits her well. I would probably never use it, but it's a cool name. People call her "Meesh" as an occasional nn.

I dunno. I think it kind of bugs me. I'm not a big fan of male names with 'A' on the end. _________________________________________________

I kinda like it, but it use to be the name of my ex-friend's cat... but that doesn't really bother me, I just thought that was a weird name for a cat, mostly because it sounds like 'Mi-chat' witch could be translated to 'half-cat' lol. Anyways, yeah, I do like it :P
